The series II began production in 1958. They were fitted with a 2.25 litre petrol
engine and their classic shape is recognised by all. The series IIa was
manufactured between 1961 and 1971. Some cosmetic changes were made and a 2.6
litre six cylinder engine was offered in the long wheel base 109" as was the
2.25 litre diesel engine.
